Steel Warriors is an anti-knife crime charity organisation to promote physical and mental wellbeing through accessible fitness, and create pathways for personal growth and success. Steel Warriors has grown into a movement with a large callisthenics community all over London, now running six gyms, each with weekly public free sessions. Through regular youth intervention programmes and open community sessions, they continue to build stronger, safer communities.
Social Media, Design & Content Creation
My creative contributions included commercial photography, fashion photography, graphic design, video production and editing. My role as a Social Media Manager included running the social accounts, weekly scheduled posting, content ideation, and regularly engaging with the community. These contributions helped Steel Warriors expand visibility, strengthen engagement with the community, and showcase events and initiatives to a wider audience.
FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY
The Steel Warriors merchandise was an official collaboration with Gymshark. The aeroplane photos were shot in front of London City Airport (LCY) and were timed according to the flight schedule with fitness model and streetlifter Daniel Varbanov.
